How Can You Easily Access Your Favorite Podcasts?

Spotify users can easily discover podcasts by going to Your Library > Podcasts & Shows on mobile or Your Library > Podcasts on desktop computers. Furthermore, when following a podcast you will automatically be subscribed to it’s New Episodes playlist which makes the process of finding episodes easier!
The Spotify app makes it easy to track all of your followed podcasts and listening history on the left-hand side of your screen, with tapping any podcast title providing access to its episode list and playback – each episode displays length, date of uploading, length of episode played back etc. To begin following a podcast click its Follow button; after following you’ll notice its button change into Following status.
Spotify will soon be redesigning its podcast section, streamlining it and making it more intuitive to find episodes you have played, shows you follow and downloaded episodes. The redesign will bring order by dividing these categories into three tabs that you can swipe or tap between: episodes, downloads and shows. In each of these categories, the latest episodes for that podcast are shown, as well as any incomplete ones played previously, with shows showing those recently released new episodes at the top.
If you want to delete a podcast from your library, tap its three-dot icon shaped like an ellipsis () on its podcast page and a pop-up menu with options will appear; select “Delete from this list” to permanently remove it and free up space on your device while also preventing accidental double downloads. Alternatively, remove it by tapping its arrow in search results or its name under Your Library tab.

How Do You Find Your Favorite Podcast on Spotify?

Spotify is one of the leading music streaming services and recently expanded into podcasting as well. However, finding your podcast on spotify may be confusing so here is a step-by-step guide on how to locate, subscribe to and download podcast episodes on spotify.
Spotify provides a dedicated search page for podcasts that provides personalized results based on your podcast listening history. It also includes a discovery tool to help find new shows to listen to. Both tools can be found by going to Your Library > Podcasts & Shows on mobile devices or Your Library > Podcasts on desktop PCs.
Spotify not only offers dedicated search pages and discovery tools, but it also offers a broad selection of podcast categories ranging from Music, News & Politics, Comedy Sports. To explore these you can tap the Podcasts icon at the bottom of the screen or use its search bar at the top.
Once you find a podcast you want to subscribe to, tap the three horizontal line icon at the bottom of your screen. This will open their info page with all available episodes listed – simply tap any episode you wish to listen to to start playing it or tap the arrows on either side for quick navigation through past or upcoming episodes.
Checking how many listeners your podcast has on Spotify is easy by visiting its page in the Spotify for Podcasters portal, however you will only be able to see aggregated audience data shared with podcast hosts who in turn use this data for setting ad rates for their shows.

With a premium Spotify account, you can listen to podcasts on any computer, mobile phone, or tablet – or download episodes to play offline later. Use the arrow next to each episode title to add it directly into your queue or skip directly to specific points within an episode; plus change its playback speed so as to slow or fast forward your listening experience!
Spotify provides many features tailored specifically for podcasters, such as an RSS feed and a one-click submission option. Once submitted, your podcast should show up on Spotify!
Spotify will give your podcast an online listing and access to audience statistics such as age and gender information that can help target ads or select topics for future episodes. Furthermore, Spotify also lets you know how many downloads there have been of your podcast.
Follow a podcast’s page by clicking Follow, to ensure new episodes will automatically appear in Your Library on desktop and mobile. Alternatively, select Play to start listening directly. To listen to an entire season of a podcast click Play All Episodes from its page or in Your Library on either platform; alternatively you may choose to sort by popularity (as measured by unique recent listeners on Spotify) or by date created.

How to Navigate Spotify Podcasts Easily?

Spotify began as a music app and quickly expanded into podcasting, but now aims to become an all-in-one audio entertainment hub with features aimed at meeting this goal. The company has released new features to achieve this objective.
One of the latest additions is the ability to follow podcasts by tapping their episode titles. Once subscribed, these podcasts will appear both in Your Library and also under Podcasts in the Spotify app – making it easy for you to access and listen to any new episodes when they become available.
Save a podcast episode directly to a playlist or queue without following it directly in Spotify, saving it to Your Episodes as usual, but choosing another folder to put it. Also click the plus button near an album or song in Spotify app to add them and see when your addition was successful with a green checkmark!
Spotify has also made it easier to discover and follow podcasts through their search feature, now displaying a podcast icon in search results alongside relevant information such as hostname and genre name. Furthermore, filters allow for easier searches; useful if searching for specific episodes or podcasters.
Spotify continues to expand its podcasting offerings, creating more opportunities for podcasters. If you are considering submitting your show for consideration on Spotify’s streaming platform, create a separate account from your personal one using the email associated with your host podcast host and agree to Spotify’s terms of service before submitting your podcast show.

Have You Discovered This Hidden Feature in Spotify?

Spotify might not meet audiophile standards for a premium listening experience, but for many, it remains an ideal solution as its convenient interface provides music and podcast features into one app that works across devices – desktop computer, phone/tablet, and speaker devices alike. Other key functions for podcast listening include showing show notes (mobile tap on three dots to go directly to an episode; desktop user clicks the title of the episode) as well as changing playback speed settings.
Spotify will ask you to verify ownership of the content for your podcast and then create a specific RSS feed for it. An RSS feed differs from traditional website feeds in that it needs to include specific details about your show such as its name, artwork, description, hosting provider and language of publication.
Once this step has been completed, Spotify will display your podcast on their website and you can also opt to add it to Your Library, where it will then appear alongside your music on Spotify. By doing this, the most current episodes of your podcast are sure to play first!
If you subscribe to Spotify, you can quickly and easily gain access to podcast stats and analytics by tapping the arrow next to each podcast in Your Library page. Here, you can see your total Starts, Streams and Listeners as well as average Listener duration and demographic data. The Episodes tab shows a list of your latest episodes sorted by release date.
